Zoloft Class Action

Levitt Robinson Solicitors is considering drug product liability claims arising from adverse reactions to the anti-depressant, Zoloft, particularly affecting children, adolescents and young adults. Zoloft is an SSRI and is one of the most commonly prescribed anti-depressants in Australia. Zoloft has only been found to have positive effects which may outweigh its side effects for children, young adults and adolescents between the ages of 6 and 24 years, suffering from Obsessive Compulsive Disorder (OCD) but not for any other purpose.

Common Zoloft Side Effects

Zoloft may cause a number of side effects in certain susceptible people (including, especially, young people).

  3. Seizures
  4. Fever
  5. Sensations akin to electric shock
  6. Blurred vision
  7. Hallucinations
  8. Irregular heartbeat
  9. Agitation/Restlessness
  10. Excessive bruising or bleeding
  11. Worsening Depression
  12. Suicidal thoughts
  13. Unusual changes in behaviour
